If the company is awarded the GREEN TOURISM ORGANIZATION, environmental work has just begun. When the company is part of the scheme, it must continuously keep up the "environmental stew" and ensure progress in the environmental work. It is intended that the environment is an element in all considerations and decisions that the company makes.

The company must, among other things, ongoing:

  • Work on new environmental goals and action plans

  • Educate and motivate new and existing staff

  • Ensure that suppliers live up to their obligations

  • Keep an eye on energy and water consumption and ecology percentage
