The Nordic House in the Faroe Islands

5 of 5 Stars

The Nordic House is the Faroe Islands' largest culture house and forms the framework for a diversity of Nordic music, literature, performing arts, film and visual arts.

Here you get 5-star conference facilities and a thoroughly Nordic experience. When the doors open, you step on a floor of Norwegian granite, the furniture is Finnish, the wood panels originate from the Swedish forests, steel and glass are sourced in Denmark, and on top of the roof, which is Icelandic, the green Faroese grass grows.

The building is an architectural gem and also offers views of Tórshavn, the sea and the nearest island of Nólsoy.

Whether you are planning a large conference or a small, intimate meeting, the house has the right facilities. The meeting rooms vary in size and architectural expression and can accommodate from 6 to 900 people. It offers great flexibility and many options, and everywhere you are surrounded by Nordic quality and a cozy atmosphere. Not least in the house's café Systrar, which serves healthy, sustainable and organic food.

The Nordic House is within walking distance of the city center and the city's hotels, and 47 km from the airport.
