VisitAalborg is the official tourism organization of Aalborg, who contribute to the development of tourism in Aalborg. VisitAalborg works with the marketing of Aalborg as a holiday destination as well as a congress- and conference city.
VisitAalborg pledge to do our best as a tourism management organization in complying with social, environmental and economic sustainability, through our daily activities and in tourism development. To do this, we have developed a sustainability policy for our organization, which embodies guiding affirmations and principles to steer our sustainability efforts.

The northern part of Jutland is full of unique nature experiences and viewpoints with stunning views of the ice age landscape, heather areas and white sand beaches. Here is also the attraction Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy, where you can experience innovative solutions to renewable energy, and the Museum of Sustainability and Supply - MOSS, the cultural-historical museum with specialties within the people of Vildmosen, Møller and Jyske Å's history.
Aalborg is Denmark's fourth largest city with a population of over 200,000 residents. In recent years, Aalborg has undergone a change and evolved from being an industrial city, to an oasis of architecture, exciting gastronomy and cozy metropolis.
Aalborg has named two important European sustainability documents: Aalborg Charter from 1994 and Aalborg Commitments from 2004. Aalborg is involved in the Sustainable Cities campaign, led by ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability).
About 50% of the rooms in Aalborg are eco-labeled with the Swan or Green Key.
